Day 1: Fes - Merzouga Desert: Camel Trek and Berber Tent Overnight
  • Departure from Fes, journeying through the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas Mountains.
  • En route, visit Ifrane, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco,” and Midelt.
  • Stop at Azrou, a Berber village in the cedar forest, home to Barbary apes.
  • Traverse Tizi N’talghamt pass and Ziz Gorge, transitioning to desert landscapes.
  • Lunch in Errachidia and a scenic drive through the luxuriant Ziz Valley.
  • Arrive at Merzouga, greeted with mint tea, and embark on a camel ride.
  • Enjoy dinner and spend the night in a Berber tent amidst the golden sands.
Day 2: Merzouga Desert - Rissani Market - Erfoud Fossils - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley
  • Early morning desert sunrise spectacle atop a high dune followed by breakfast.
  • Return to Merzouga by camel and visit Rissani’s market (on market days).
  • Explore Erfoud’s fossil marble workshops before journeying to Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves.
